What cookies are

A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser so it can remember something for your next visit. Some are required for the site to work, others measure traffic. We do not set the latter without your consent.

Current status

This site uses no analytics or marketing cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no Tag Manager and no advertising pixel. That is also why no consent banner appears — there is nothing to ask consent for.

The contact form sets no cookies. What you fill in is sent by email and is not stored in a database on the website side. You will find the details in the privacy policy.

When measurement is added

Analytics and the consent banner are already built and are switched on together by a single setting. It is therefore not technically possible to start measuring without asking the visitor first. This page will then automatically list the cookies in use.

Referral code

If you arrived through a link carrying a referral or discount code (for example ?code=…), we store that code in your browser for 30 days. It serves one purpose: when you write to us later, we know who referred you, and the code fills itself into the form. It is not a cookie — it is stored locally under the name ss-referral. It reaches us only when you submit the form yourself. It is sent to Calendly as soon as the calendar loads, so that we know who referred you even if you book a slot instead of writing. It holds nothing about you, only the code from the link. You can remove it by clearing site data in your browser.

Managing cookies in your browser

You can delete or block stored files at any time in your browser settings — in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge it sits under privacy. Blocking cookies from this site does not affect how it works; the form and the booking widget work without them.
